About Book
Most high school sports teams have rivalries with other schools. At Hamilton High, it's a civil war: the football team versus the soccer team. And for her part,Lissa is sick of it. Her quarterback boyfriend, Randy, is always ditching her to go pick a fight with the soccer team or to prank their locker room. And on three separate occasions Randy's car has been egged while he and Lissa were inside, making out. She is done competing with a bunch of sweaty boys for her own boyfriend's attention

Then Lissa decides to end the rivalry once and for all: She and the other players' girlfriends go on a hookup strike. The boys won't get any action from them until the football and soccer teams make peace. What they don't count on is a new sort of rivalry: an impossible girls-against-boys showdown that hinges on who will cave to their libidos first. But what Lissa never sees coming is her own sexual tension with the leader of the boys, Cash Sterling..

Most high school sports teams have rivalries with other schools. At Hamilton High, it’s a civil war the football team versus he soccer team. And for her part, Lissa is sick of it. Her Quarterback boyfriend, Randy, is always ditching her to go pick a fight or haze a freshman. And on three separate occasions Randy’s car has been egged a bunch of sweaty boys for her own boyfriend’s attention.

Lissa decides to end the rivalry once and for all. She and the other player’s girlfriends go on a hookup strike. The boys wont get any action from them until the football and soccer teams make peace. What they don’t count on is a new sort of rivalry: an impossible girls-against- boy’s showdown that hinges on who will save to their libidos first. And her own sexual tension with the leader of the boys? Lissa never it coming. In this hilarious and romantic re-imagining of Aristophanes’’ Lysistrata, the battle of boys against girls is on.

I first heard about this book from a friend and just had to get it after looking into it a bit. That day I got it in E-Book format and was done with it in about 2 hours. I loved it, it was a teenager’s outlook on high school and boys and friendship.
So this book ill give 4/5 stars.

Lissa was a control freak who has major OCD issues. She was beautiful and strong and just set in her way.

Cash….well I would totally like to date him. The school flirt, totally hot but you cant get anywhere with  him. By the end i was inlove.

Randy, well words really cant describe how much I dislike him. He comes off as the nice caring boyfriend but really just is a complete a**.

Chloe, she’s Lissa’s best friend and is known as the school sl*t but really just because she’s honest about her s*x life doesn’t mean she is any of the things people call her. She isn’t ready to settle down with a guy and just knows what she likes, she isn’t mean about it and is a lovely person who would do anything for her friend. She would have to be my second favorite character.

Now down to my final character who happens to be my favorite. Nothing much is said about her but I feel like I must tell people the little bit about her because she is so worth hearing about, Mary. Her name says it all, she’s sweet and young and totally in love with her huge footballer boyfriend. She’s the only girl who is honest about herself. Throughout this book she’s a small role but I just love how caring and sweet and young she is and how she reminds me of that little sister I have to protect from everything bad.

So go ahead and give this book a read because its fun, light and really enjoyable.

There's the hand that touches her shoulder when she's drifting off to sleep. A voice whispering her name. And everyone knows what happened. So when a pupil is found dead, Mallory's name is on their lips. Her past can be forgotten but it's never gone. Can Mallory live with that?

My Thoughts

Whilst I had read that this book was a let down i still decided to give it a go. Well.....im very glad i did. I absolutely adored it and couldn't put it down. With a baby its hard to find the time to read but i managed it and read this book in no time. All in all i book i did really enjoy. 9/10 for this book. I will be buying it as soon as i get the chance.
Spoilers ahead so unless you have read it then just take my word for it and read it. it is a fantastic read.
Mallory seemed numb from it all, like you would be after such a scaring and shocking thing happening. Though she might not have loves Brian he was still her boyfriend and she did kill him. Mallory's parents didn't seem to know how to deal, yet really who does. Her mum was cold and distant and unsure of what to make of it all where her dad was taking charge trying to work and keep everything together whilst worrying about both his wife and daughter. As an only child im sure her parents were even more upset because they would have put everything into Mallory and she had the possible chance of going to jail for a very long time. Thankfully that didn't happen because it was self deference.
So after a few incidents her parents decide it would be best for her to go to boarding school, it was both a great decision and a bad one. It changed Mallory's life in so many way. She left behind her parents and her best friend (whom is fantastic and stuck by her through everything) to go to a school where she had no one.
Being there she found Reid (OMG I totally love him) she isn't sure what to make of it since the incident at his fathers funeral but in the end its just wrong time wrong place and it ended what could have been a great friendship or possibly relationship for them both, thankfully by the end i think she was getting him.
So the murder.....dead guy found in room with wrist slit, using Mallory's knife she stole and lost and turns out to be the girls he has abused, one being his half sister.
so with that all sorted out we move onto her finding her best friend....with both legs broken almost dead thanks to those girls. Thankfully she lives and im glad for it. She is the kind of best friend every girl wants, i just happen to be lucky enough to have :) (love you Nikki) so it ends with Mallory deciding to go back to the boarding school, not sure if its a good thing or not but it could be, she needed to be away from her town and she has Reid. Arh I swoon a little hearing his name.

My Thoughts

All in all I loved this book, it was fantastically written that was dark and twisted and sad. Yet ,I loved how it questioned everything I thought I loved and gave me something new to replace it.This book is now in my top 10 favorite books of all time because it did everything a book is meant to do,I cried laughed and just sat in shock when it was over wishing I could go back and relive it for the first time again. After reading it three times I managed to be able to put it down and recommended to those around me (never could because my friends have different tastes in books) so I give it 5 out of 5 stars.Amazing execution, fantastically written and a flawless group of characters we all love yet giving them a real feeling to them.

My Thoughts

I was asked by a friend of mine "Angels With Attitude Book Reviews" if I would be interested in reading a book for an author friend of hers and giving an honest review. First of "HELLO" I love to read so bring it on, I downloaded the book and went right to reading and am I so glad I did and now I sit and wait for book 2 to come out :)

What a great book, I love how she went back and forth between both main characters so throughout the entire book you feel like you are getting the full picture, the full story as both Echo and Ayden are telling the story, not just one character. You get to see and feel what each of them are going through during the story.

I can't imagine growing up as a princess, what a life that must be, but to grow up as a princess and feel like you don't fit in, don't belong, that your life isn't what it should be and you belong somewhere else - I could never imagine until being sucked into this book and through Echo's eyes I could feel how lonely, sad, angry and then for a brief time happy, joyful, the moments of freedom and love.

We all live in a society that daily we see someone struggling, and unless you have been through it yourself can't even begin to imagine what it must be like to be poor, fighting every day to survive. Welcome to Ayden's world. Living in a society that dictates when you can come and go from where you live. When you can come and go into another village that is better off than your own. Having to work endless hours, scratch and claw your way around. Having to humble yourself, be looked down upon and talked down to just to survive. This was Aydens world, between the bullies, his alcoholic worthless father, sick mother almost on death's door at times and two younger siblings hew as practically raising on his own and a good friend Feven who came and went as she pleased but took advantage of Ayden as she saw fit.

Ayden and Echo's lives collide in the palace and Ayden lashes out after getting in trouble thinking she is a spoiled rich brat just like all the other royals. Little does he know how very wrong he is. Echo is drawn immediately into his violet eyes and every day tries to find a way to get to know him, be near him, with him. After bumping into him she beings to realize even more how very different she is from her family.

Echo is being forced into an arranged marriage, the man Noah she is set to marry loves the women and Echo is very aware of his wandering ways. Her mother, father and sisters tell her this is her duty for the good of the kingdom. She loathes Noah, detests being around him and wants nothing more but to get away.

And with Ayden's help she does just that, she gets away. And though their time is brief, she is happy, they are happy, its almost like living in a dream world and having to pinch herself to make sure it is real. Until it all comes crashing in and they are forced to fight one another to the death for their very life.

But tables turn, and she learns she isn't who she has believed she was all her life, events change her, her life and her pending future - and now I wait for book two.

I have never been drawn to a character like I have been to Echo and Ayden their plight is one I look forward to watching grow and I hope they get their happy ending.

That is Ethan Chase’s unbreakable rule. Until the fey he avoids at all costs—including his reputation—begin to disappear, and Ethan is attacked. Now he must change the rules to protect his family. To save a girl he never thought he’d dare to fall for.

Ethan thought he had protected himself from his older sister’s world—the land of Faery. His previous time in the Iron Realm left him with nothing but fear and disgust for the world Meghan Chase has made her home, a land of myth and talking cats, of magic and seductive enemies. But when destiny comes for Ethan, there is no escape from a danger long, long forgotten.

This novel is one of Julie’s books that will have you demanding for the second one as soon as you finish your read.

My Thoughts

I really enjoyed this story ! This has been such a great series.I am glad that Ethan got his own story but, I think this won't be the last we here from him.And a Thank you Netgalley and Harlequin Teen for allowing me to read an Advance Readers Copy of The Lost Prince.

Ethan Chase, Meghan's brother also the Queen of the Iron Fey he is gifted with the ability to see the world of the fey.

Ethan surprised me in this story as I was so surprised at his bitterness toward life and his sister it was almost on the verge of hostel. But, after being kidnapped as a child and brought to the Fey where danger lurks at every corner I guess I am should not be that surprised. And even in the mortal world the creatures can't leave the guy alone but, his resentment and his disrespect toward his sister was another thing altogether.Ethan is labeled a bad boy and has gotten a reputation for being one. But, he really is undeserving if it all ,the mishaps occurring they were caused by the Fey creatures and he was only trying to protect himself.

Ethan is forced to flee to the Iron realm to see the Queen and his sister.Something or someone is making the Fey creatures and other living creatures in the mortal world disappear. When mysterious ghost-like fey start killing exiles and kidnapping half-bloods Ethan reluctantly visits the NeverNever. Ethan needs to find a way to find his friend and let the Queen know what is going on and the danger this new development brings.

Ethan is joined on this journey with a classmate Kenzie.Ethan not meaning to has brought Kenzie with him to the Iron Fey for her safety and his own as something or someone is out to get them.I loved the slow building romance between Ethan and Kenzie in this novel! Ethan who is so used to being alone kept pushing Kenzie away, which at times was infuriating, but Kenzie is so strong and independent that she wouldn't take any of Ethan's crap. I liked that about her, it actually reminded me a lot of Meghan with her relationship with Ash the unseelie Prince of the winter court.

The pages are graced with some of our favorite characters Ash, Meghan and Puck and our favorite cat but, only briefly. We are introduced to a new characters like Kierran who happens to be Ash and Meaghan's son and lets not forget Kenzie and also we encounter the displaced Queen who has made her own little world.

The story was a page turner from beginning to end.Kierran joins with Ethan and Kenzie on there wild adventure. As always there journey is fraught with nothing but danger.Kenzie on the other hand is enjoying her time spent in the NeverNever even with all the danger lurking about. She is very adventurous and wants to learn all she can in her limited time in the Fey.

Ethan and his brooding mood softens a bit to develop a slow and budding romance with Kenzie. She was such a fun character to read about. And as for Kierran Ash and Meghan's son I didn't really get a good reading on him yet whether I am going to like his character or not. I felt that he was a little bit to dangerous (meaning he doesn't look at the consequences of his actions  beforehand just dives right in making him extremely dangerous )Without the thought to others welfare he puts others in danger and may just get them killed. Also I am not so sure he is trust worthy. I just get a bad vibe about him.Who's side is he on away ?You might ask yourself this to after reading this story.

A lot happens in the story while uncovering this plot of the who dun-nit and we learn about a prophecy and what is to come true and who the players are.It makes you very edgy and things are not looking good for the near future.Pretty scary in fact and has you wondering if you all ready know who is the traitor?

I have to say it was and overall engaging story.Had all the things to make a great story a good plot great characters even though I missed the camaraderie of some off the other characters this novel was a bit more serious.I am glad to see new characters gracing the pages.I loved the adventure.I am thinking that we will see more of these characters to come in the future books.I have to say that no matter what Iron Fey novel you pick up it is going to be throughly enjoyable.

A must read ! A recommended read to all ages whether your young or old you won't be disappointed.
